Relativating pretensions of a metropol.
The unfixed beams and the theatrical lights are giving the space a suggestion of movement. It seems to raise the question whether the installation is rising or collapsing.
The installation title is inspired by a performance of Sharon Hayes ‘Everything Else Has Failed! Don’t You Think It’s Time For Love?’ from 2007 in which she combines personal longing and desire with topics on politics and war.
